Having never hosted an Open House before we realized two things;
1. The ReStore is a great place to host this type of event
2. The Hamilton County community are amazing people!!!
While this was the first of it's kind for Habitat for Humanity of Hamilton County we are hoping it will not be our last. We had over 50 people come out to learn more about our organization and see the location of our ReStore... if they had never been before. It was technically a Business/Networking Open House/ Beer Tasting, so our partner for the night Four Day Ray (FDR) offered two of their best beers for everyone to sample; Doonright Scottish Ale and Blood Orange Blonde or "BOB". As expected they were a big hit. If you've never been to Four Day Ray you should definitely check them out (11671 Lantern Rd, Fishers, IN 46038). So a big thank you to FDR for partnering to help make the night such a big success. Donatos and Kroger were in attendance as well so thank you to both of you and we appreciate your support.
Thank you to our Board and Committee Leaders for inviting so many people and for all your time and efforts you put into Habitat. We couldn't have done it without you!
And a special thank you to everyone that came out to mix and mingle and to learn more about Habitat and how we are working in Hamilton County. We wouldn't be able to do what we do if you didn't support and encourage us so well.
