More Ways to Support Hamilton Habitat

Gifts of Land

As the need for affordable housing continues to grow in Hamilton County, securing land for homes for our partner families on the waiting list becomes much more challenging. If you are aware of a parcel of land in the county that may be available, we’d like to talk to you!

Habitat for Humanity of Hamilton County has partnered with many different organizations, companies, institutions, and individuals in accepting donated land and we also occasionally purchase land at fair market value. You can help create affordable housing in our community by contacting us if you know of available property or are interested in donating or selling your land.

Email Rhett Cecil at rcecil@hfhhc.org or call 317-896-9423 x.1 for more information.

Habitat for Humanity License Plates

Habitat for Humanity license plates are now available in Indiana.  The plates are $40 of which $25 goes to Habitat for Humanity of Hamilton County and the other $15 to the BMV.  If you would like to purchase a Habitat plate, please contact the BMV.  Proceeds generated by the purchase of Habitat for Humanity license plates are used by Habitat for Humanity of Hamilton County to build homes in partnership with hard-working, low-income Hamilton County families.

Vehicle Donations

Donating a car, truck, boat, RV or other vehicle is quick, easy and may be eligible for tax deduction purposes if you itemize (consult the IRS or tax advisor for details). Cars for Homes (TM) accepts a majority of vehicles with proper title and ownership information, and even makes arrangements to have your vehicle, keys and title picked up for processing.

Proceeds generated by donated vehicle sales are used by Habitat for Humanity of Hamilton County to build homes in partnership with hard-working, low-income Hamilton County families.
